Would putting a comforter in a duvet cover just be stupid, or could this work? Will the size be ok?
So, the comforter I have is a solid pink that corresponds with the pinks in the pattern on the duvet cover.
It could work, right? And as long as the comforter and cover are both twin, it should fit?

December 27th, 2009I just bought a really nice hungarian goosedown comforter but I’m worried it will be too warm for all the seasons except winter, I’d like to keep it but I will need a real lightweight, breathable duvet cover. I am a single guy so I don’t want a feminine one. I don’t understand why so much bedding seems to be for women.

Has anyone tried using a featherbed mattress topper in their duvet cover instead of the normal down comforter?
December 26th, 2009I have not had good luck with regular down comforters not bunching up etc. inside my coverlet, but I know that featherbed mattress toppers keep their shape much longer, so I was just wondering if it would be okay to stuff my duvet cover with a featherbed instead of the down comforter.
