Pinzon 160-Gram Yarn-Dye Flannel Duvet Cover
Interested in purchasing a duvet cover for your bed? This site is designed to give you more information about hotel collection duvet covers.
What exactly IS a duvet cover?
Another word for the comforter on your bed is “duvet”. Thus, a duvet cover is designed to go over (and protect and keep clean) your comforter. A duvet cover is generally easier to clean than a duvet – especially if you buy one that does not require dry cleaning.
In some instances, the duvet cover will come with side skirts, or shams, to add an even nicer look to your bedroom.
How do you place them properly on the bed? Is there a “right way” to positioning it?
If your hotel collection duvet cover has an open end with buttons, place your comforter inside the duvet cover and turn it so the button-end is at the foot of the bed. This way the buttons won’t interfere with your sleep!
What is the best way to wash and dry my duvet cover?
Normally, a duvet cover should fit easily in a standard size washing machine and dryer. Assuming your duvet cover is not dry clean only this should suffice and can be done on a regular basis. I clean my weekly and it hasn’t been a problem. I have heard that some people can’t get the cover into their washer (it is either too large or the washing machine is too small). In these cases, you can consider a laundromat (which I despise). Alternatively, you can just take it to any dry cleaner and have it cleaned by a professional.
